Headphone jack and Bluetooth sound only in one side?

My son’s iPod Touch 6 Gen had an issue with the sound not coming out of one ear when he plugged in his headphones. I thought the easier solution would be to get him Bluetooth headphones, but the sound only comes out of one side of those as well. I used his BT headphones with my phone and they work fine.

Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas?

One last search before bed and I found the answer.

Under Settings>General>Accessibility, he had moved the Audio Volume Balance to the right. I had just found another post that suggested checking the “Mono Audio” button, but this was just below it.

I hope this helps the iFixit family.
