Blue light blinking after replacing battery!

Helo,

i have replace battery on my samsung s6, when i tried to power it on, the blue light started blinking and the screen stayed black. I tried to put old battery back in but the situation hasn’t change, after that i tried hard reset (volume up / down + power button).

i checked if there is any damage on the board or other components and i haven’t found any, under the bright light i checked if i could see any cracks on the display and again i didn’t found nothing.

does anybody knows what else could be wrong or what else should i check or how ?

Plese Help !

Some troubleshooting thoughts:

  • Let the phone charge for at least 30 minutes to see if this fixes the issue.
  • Follow the iFixit guide to make sure the battery connector is fully secured: Samsung Galaxy S6 Battery Replacement
  • Clean the charging port with compressed air to see if any debris is keeping the phone from charging.
  • Try a different charging cable.
  • Try a different wall outlet (or USB port).

You could try a factory reset to see if this fixes the issue. However, a factory reset would completely wipe everything you have on the phone, which is typically not desired.

Further troubleshooting may be dependent on the original reason for the battery replacement (water damage, not holding a charge, swollen).

Since both batteries are not starting up the phone, it may be that a) there is a deeper problem within the phone itself or b) both batteries do not hold a charge.

I have exactly the same problem.

Factory reset? How??? I do not care about the data.

The original battery was still OK, but I wanted a brand new one.

I have a Galaxy S6 and my battery was swollen and not keeping charge. Took it to get replaced now I have a black blank screen with a blue blinking LED light.

My phone was fine, it was turning on with no issue before I took it in for a battery replacement.

Anyone would know what's wrong? Did the store mess up my phone
