So how do I know which one is the intake and the exhaust? Is that related to bank 1 or bank 2 positions?

Are all the camshaft position sensors on this interchangeable? Why are my 2014 ford f-150 lariat ecoboost 3.5l camshaft position sensors is on the top rear of the heads?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

This is where they are on the 2011 but all 3.5L ecoboosts year models use the same sensors. I provided the link to the ford parts website to purchase oem sensors and if you scroll down it gives you the list of compatible year models.

After looking at this picture, I see I have two sensors on each side. TWO! Not one, but TWO! OMG. Code p054a refers to the camshaft sensor on Bank 2. Passenger side. Every video I ever watched everyone talks about 1 sensor. Replace 1 sensor. That's it. I need to replace both on the passenger side. I got a mirror to see exactly where it is. All videos refer to getting it off from the top. I actually saw a guy refer to pulling the tire and wheel well off. Wow, I just don't know. I responded to yours since it was posted this year. Thank you so much.

Any input on this from you would be greatly appreciated.

If you have 1 cam, 1 sensor on each side.

If you have two cams, 2 on each side / 2 for each cam
