You can, but the high vapor pressure means it will evaporate much quicker than an alcohol more suited to cleaning like isopropyl. Make sure it doesn’t contain any other chemicals that could be left on the device when the alcohol evaporates.

ethyl alcohol is for drinking. A 70% would be 140 proof. Just what do you have?

I would strongly recommend using isopropyl rubbing alcohol as, it does not leave as much of a residue as ethyl alcohol can. Electronics are very sensitive.
