The DOSS SoundBox can be identified by its model number: DOSS SoundBox on the base between the feet of the speaker. Its a fourth generation bluetooth wireless audio player that was released in 2016.

My Doss bluetooth speaker is less than a year old, but it won’t charge. The charging port seems to be lose. I’ve tried several USB cables, but nothing works

jjohnrose  if it feels loose and a new cable is not fixing it, it is entirely possible that it is a bad port. Use this guide DOSS SoundBox Motherboard Replacement to work on it. Take some pictures and post those with your question so we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question

There is a “charge light,” inside the reset port that normally shines solid red when charging. This light is now flashing and it is not charging. The USB port, “is not loose.” Hitting / holding reset is not solving the problem either.

Still no solution.

In my experience, the DOSS Soundbox-Pro is a very fastidious device.

You should keep almost charged if it is underrun the power cannot charge up. The charging red LED flashes continuously without charging. When charging properly the red LED just lit.

If you change both the cable and the USB charger should solve your problem. I found a great combination of charger and cable, an old OnePlus One charger and cable works well.

I guess it could be a firmware error because I have two, and both behave the same.

So is this like a bad product it seems everyone with one is having the same problem.

I am having the same trouble with my Doss Traveler. It sounds great, especially for its size, but I began to have charging problems. At first changing cables and chargers seemed to help, but now nothing seems to charge it. Pressing the reset button doesn't help.

I bought my Doss wireless speaker in early July. It won't hold a charge. It has gotten worse and worse and now it' useless!
