A1708 / EMC 2978 — Released October 2016, this entry-level MacBook Pro retains its traditional function keys (as opposed to the OLED Touch Bar). The function key version packs an Intel Core i5 and two Thunderbolt 3 ports.
Can you please call me I’m looking for an adapter that allows me to plug in a 2016/2017 non touch bar SSD drive to either a USB-A or USB-C port to read and test drives externally.
I don't have 10, I had 15 made and I think I have eight left, but I would be happy to send you my PCB file, and you can send it to PCB way like I did and they can make you as many as you want, I know the design works, I've been using it for years. I designed a custom PCB adapter several years ago and had PCB Way build several of them, specifically to recover data from 38+22-MacBook Pro SSDs. They're 38+22-pin to USB 3.2 Gen2x2, so quite fast, they get the job done.
