iPhone 8 plus touch and freezing issues after screen replacement
I replaced the screen on an iPhone 8 plus with iOS 12.0 installed, a few days later the touch became intermittent, sometimes it works great sometimes and won’t respond. I updated to iOS 12.2 hoping to resolve the issue but the issue only got worse. screen sometimes would just freeze, I tab the messages app and it won’t respond after a few tabs now it works, screen is too sensitive, all apps could start to wiggle as if I touched and held an app longer that 3-4 second when in reality I barely touched it. I re-installed the original cracked screen and now it completely frozen, I installed a brand new screen and its still frozen. Please help!

Hi Owen, thank you very much for your reply!
-I installed 2 new screens and it turned on frozen, I restarted the phone and it’s still frozen
-I went ahead and re-installed the original cracked screen it came in with, it turned on but it’s still frozen, I restarted the iphone and it’s still frozen.
- I now reversed the first screen replacement and i’m back to square one where screen works when it wants to.
I wonder if iOS 12.2 has something to do with it?

It might. Try doing a full restore by going into dfu mode and restoring it via iTunes.
