Do you have any screen protectors installed? If so, remove them to see if anything changes.

Have you ever had it opened before?

Highly doubt its software

is the phone damaged physically?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

The phone was never opened before

When the screen touches itself its called ghost touch. This happened when there is physical damage to the screen which calls for a replacement.

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

Can it be a software issue like maybe cause I havent formatted the phone as yet and im praying thats the solution...because I mean the phone never fell when I had it with me and it has never been open it was in a cover and had a tempered glass from the time I got it

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

crwdns2934285:0crwdne2934285:0

If it is new and if it's not cracked or water damaged then Samsung should be able to sort that out for u, just backup stuff u need first though

P.s did u remove the tempered glass u said u had on it and try it without that on???

Unfortunately it’s likely not a software issue. If you said the screen is touching itself (Ghosting) then that likely means it’s a hardware issue with the screen itself. You may have just gotten a bad screen. If the phone is still under warranty then I would suggest you back up what data you need and claim the warranty on the device.
