Black Screen after screen replacement?

I recently replaced the screen on an iPhone 8 plus. The first screen I replaced had lines through it, so I replaced the screen a second time and the phone screen is completely dead. I can hear sound through the speakers (that emergency buzz when you hold down the power and volume down) and the phone is receiving texts through an Apple watch but a completely black screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Was the battery disconnected when doing the screen replacement? If not backlight circuit may need to be fixed via someone that does micro-soldering. This can be confirmed by trying out the old screen and see if it works. If not try putting a flashlight on the screen and see if you can see display with a dim screen (might need to do it when the phone is turning on with apple logo).

Alright so I tried it shining the flashlight on it and it does indeed show the display very faintly. What should I do next?

Ok so if it shows display faintly on all of the screens you'll need to take the phone to a reputable repair shop that does micro-soldering on iPhones.

They will be able to fix that problem for you as that requires a board repair.

I didnt undo the battery and my screen is black but vibrates and junk so is there any other way then micro soldering

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

you can try a new screen and see if maybe the screen you have is faulty, but since you didn't disconnect the battery it's most likely something was damaged on the board and will require microsoldering

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I was very cautious with this phone and made sure the battery was disconnected. I will try using a flashlight

The same problem, only, I replaced it with the new display and it worked on the test, it did the problem once when the screen didn't work after a restart, then I disconnected it and reconnected, it worked.

The next day I changed the battery, but it didn't work anymore, it starts up because the sound is heard when I connect the charger. I checked all the plugs, all the circuits on the screen and it is intact and new. what to be?
