Connections to the server “imap-mail.outlook.com” on the default ports

To my APPLE master friends... Recently all of my email accounts get the following messages and don't sync.


"Connections to the server “imap-mail.outlook.com” on the default ports timed out."


I've looked on forums and haven't found much help. I haven't done much different either and I'm not sure what changed in the system. Any suggestions?

Make sure you have the date and time set correctly, and make sure you have a good internet connection.

You can troubleshoot Mail.app using Connection Doctor. In Mail, in the top menu bar, click Window > Connection Doctor. See if that shows any diagnostic information for you. Follow any instructions in the details column if they appear.
