This sounds like a problem with the charge port. At least on the Galaxy models, the soft keys are part of the charge port assembly. If in fact they are not one piece then I’m not sure what’s going on. It could be water damage. Are there any sings?

yea, i have this model on hand and the back and swap are not connected directly like in other galaxy models, this charging port is soldered directly to the board. water damage, maybe?
