Very Loud In Spin Cycle

The washing machine works great, but is super loud during spin cycle….can hear it on other side of house with the door closed to laundry room.

Any recommendations? Thank you.

What type of noise is it producing?

The actual spinning. It’s not a grind noise, or a screech, it’s not overloaded.

A washer making a loud noise during spin cycle can also be caused by a faulty drive pulley. The pulley is what the belt (if applicable to your washer) rides on to spin your washers tub. The pulley can be made of plastic or metal. It could be simply worn out or just loose.

It’s the bearing that’s making the noise not the belt. It’s common in these washers, need to either order a kit and replace it yourself or pay someone to do it.
