Why cant I "wipe data/factory reset"?

When i boot into recovery booting and try pressing “wipe data/factory reset” it gives me a warning on the bottom of the screen that says “MDM does not allow factory reset. phone will REBOOT automatically” and then it reboots and no changes occur.

MDM solutions used by schools/companies and on Samsung demo devices can prevent factory resetting, so people can’t just reset devices and claim them as their own. If you legitimately recieved it from a company, talk with the IT department on getting the MDM removed, otherwise we can’t help you.
