Difference between GSM and CDMA iPad

What is the best way to tell the difference if the iPad (original) I have in my hands is a GSM or CDMA?

The GSM iPad will have a SIM card slot, a CDMA iPad will not. I wasn't aware of a CDMA iPad 1st Generation, but CDMA technology doesn't use SIM cards.

Thanks, no wonder I couldn't find info on google about a 1st Gen iPad with CDMA technology...it doesn't exist!
