Is main flex sticker needed?

I bought main flex cable for my Xperia Z5, but it came without the sticker to stick it to the device (I was following this tutorial https://youtu.be/OBvueomF-ew?t=199 ).

Is this sticker necessary?

If so, does anybody know where I can get one?
