Assembly not the same as everywhere else. Am I missing something?

On Assembly (Already been dissembled by someone else) The Power cable (Not the AC lead) that reaches over the metal brace to the main board will not reach although every re assembly I have seen this is how it runs.

It will fit under the brace and i’m sure that’s fine (There is a small gap) but just wondering if anyone has seen this on assembly. There is no room to move the cable nearer, looking through the power supply vent holes the lead is at full extension.

Thanks for any input. This is the first of these I’ve seen before.

Hi,

Just wanted to say my airport extreme that has never been opened had the cables routed under the metal brace so I just assume some were made like that.
