Random long spring pooped out

I took The bottom off and a spring pooped out and I’m not sure where it goes?

Could you post a picture of the part you were disassembling? It might help to see where a spring could've potentially gone.

Same happened to me. Vacuum still turns on when I have the bottom disassembled (white top unscrewed from gray bottom) and I push the on/off switch there. Ever since I disassembled and a spring popped out the on/off button will not start the vacuum. Any tips? Where do I put the spring back for a vacuum to turn on using on/off button?

There’s a grey tube by the power switch! You’ll have to reassemble the vacuum with that part at the bottom so it doesn’t fall back out.
