Yes, you could check on ebay.com and see if you find a replacement player or LCD. What I would do is to disassemble the player and take a look at the LCD itself, There are usually some manufacturers markings on these. Do a search on Google or your favorite search engine and see if you can narrow down where the LCD panel comes from. There are multiple inexpensive panels available. Check on alibaba.com or tvc-mall.com for replacement LCD's as well as many others...
