I dropped my 3ds and it doesn’t take cartridges

So yesterday I accidentally dropped my 3ds (twice). After I dropped I didn’t turn it on until the next day. When I turned it on and tried to update Pokémon Sun, It canceled the update because “The cartridge was removed”. I thought that was weird because the cartridge was fully in, and looked normal. I tried rebooting then putting the cartridge in and the other way around. I tried different cartridges and they don’t work either. Please help I don’t want to buy a new one.
