Can the accessory hose be replaced because the nipple broke
The nipple on the accessory hose valve broke off and I would like to replace it. How can I open the machine to replace this part?

It is near impossible to replace that is why there is no replacement part. The end that attaches to inside machine goes to a enclosed reel. So you have to remove the reel and disassemble it both jobs looked very involved. The other end is very hard as well. I came up with a very easy fix you will need to order part #FA2000-000 from foodsaver. You will need to cut the hose about a inch from the canister on the new part and the old part. Now you need to splice the two parts with a small tube. I used a 1/4” delrin tube I cut the flared end off and it fits inside both hoses to join them together. Any questions ssaammss@aol.com

I noticed the black hose hangs up when pulling it out you might try to bevel with a sharp knife. I used a wrap of black electric tape over the joint
First, this isn’t easy. Get a handheld accessory like the one shown in the other answer. Disassemble the broken accessory first. If you break it further, no loss. Remove the clear plastic base. Carefully pry off the green top part first (it is the part that serves a cover for the collar and is opposite the green side that has the broken nipple). A thin knife will work. Pry in the crack that has the flexible plastic gasket wit a handle. It has a tabs on each side that snap into the black plastic collar portion. With it off you can see where the black hose connects to the nipple on the inside of the collar. The black collar has two halves that snap together. It’s difficult to separate them without breaking the tabs. If you do, have some super glue on hand. Using a crab fork or similar tool. Pry off the hose. Now that you are practiced do the same with the new accessory. Put the black hose onto the inside nipple put the gasket in place and snap the two halves of the black collar around the green lower half, making sure the hose is going through the hole for it in the collar. Put a drop of glue on the two places where the collar snaps together. Snap the green cover back onto the collar and it’s good as new. You may also find an eyeglass screwdriver handy for this job.
