1 sound stops working after a short time
Tv hooked to a dish joey. Hdmi cable through splitter. Picture is fine. The other tv is fine. However sound on Lg tv stops working after variing lengths of time. 5 min - 20 min. I can switch to another hdmi port 2 or three. Change input on tv and the sound works again for a while

What happens if you connect the LG TV direct to the dish joey and not via a splitter, does the audio still stop?

Yes. Until i switch hdmi ports

Can also go back to hdmi port 1. When the other stops producing sound and it will be oribagain for a while. Ok think tv is messed up. Will using rca cables work possibly?

RCA is analogue signal not digital so it may be worth it just to check what happens
