power light goes off when released
when turning g4 on the motherboard lights up,fan comes on but light on front goes off

Unplug the machine and all peripherals. Press and hold the start button for 10 seconds. Replace the 3.6 volt lithium 1/2 AA PRAM battery on the logic board if it's been over 3 years. Plug it back in. With the door open, press the reset button on the logic board with a pencil eraser. Let us know your results or any changes. Pray.
