My printer keeps spitting out lots of paper at once and jams alot.

First, My printer is actually a CLP-320 model. When I try to insert paper, it says that there is no paper so I have to shove it it very hard but light enough that it doesn’t get jammed. Then I try to print something and it gives me lots of paper all at once instead of one. Then often it jams and makes a loud knocking noise. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
