All of a sudden my ASUS Z00D cell phone will not turn but just vibrates with nothing on the screen
I still seems to charge but just seems to keep rebooting when I try to turn it on

hold down power button and volume up it should reboot to logo and if it brings you to home screen awesome! if not then another button sequence will bring you to the recovery screen. let me know!
Hello. Something similar to your trouble has happened to my Asus Zenfone Selfie. I have solved as following: do not keep the phone always charging, replace the battery, use the original ASUS power charger only. Moreover, my phone would often get overheated. It seems everything got normal again as I have described above.

That would sound like it was the battery all along. Keeping the battery on charge all the time would keep it at 100% and that is not good for battery life. Only using the original charger would have nothing to do with it. An alternate charger with lower current capabilities would just make charging time longer. One with higher current capabilities would only supply what the phone is asking for. If the battery is bad, it will likely overheat when charging and it could be constantly signalling that it is starting to charge and that would cause the phone to vibrate. I think all phone do that.
