phone not charging and unable to download
my sony ericsson is not charging
which means i cannot down load or charge my phone. connection on phine lose

Go to Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini E10i Teardown , try to dismount, and watch if pins on board are receiving current or if the charger or cable is working fine.
Anyway looks like if charger in board broken.
