Why does my screen turn to different colors when I go to sleep.

The laptop is an Dell Inspiron 13-7353 and when I put it to sleep and turn it back on, it just gives me a screen with white, green and blue lines.

if you have an external monitor set windows to display on both. Do the same put it to sleep and back on again.

does the monitor displays the white, green and blue lines ? if so

Try to disable the sleep mode and then shut it down down. turn on again and see if the problem persists without the monitor. you might have a loose LCD cable.

I don’t think there is a problem with windows or a virus but it wouldn’t get hurt to run your anti-virus software.

It’s ok, it fixed with an ... update? I updated my laptop and apparently that was the problem. I guess the sleep mode was bugged or something. Thank you anyways!
