You need to open the tablet and inspect the motherboard for any damage.
Here’s a link to the ifixit Polaroid P902 Motherboard Replacement guide, which may be of some help.
You don’t need to actually remove the motherboard. The guide is just to show you how to open it to gain access.
If there is any obvious damage, e.g. burnt out/blown components etc or if you are not sure take some close up pictures of the problem area and post back here and hopefully someone will be able to help. Here’s a link that shows how to do this.

Did it instantly die when you plugged it in, or did the battery just drain and couldn’t charge it.
