Blinking red light and TV will not come on.
I have a 40 inch Sanyo tv, model number FW40D36F. The light blinks red repeatedly and will not power on. Need to find a part to fix the TV

Hi @shawnjohnso3320,
Here's the service manual for your TV.
Go to page 8-3 (35 of 86 pdf) [Power Supply Section] [TYPE B], Flowchart No.1 and follow the chart(s) to hopefully find out what's wrong.
Be safety aware when testing for DC voltage on the power board as there's exposed lethal AC voltage on the board as well.

Here's how I got around this error: Unplug the ROKU and the set starts right up. It may depend on which HDMI port the ROKU is plugged into. Anyway, no trouble since.

I have the same set and the red led is solid when plugged in and when I try to turn it on by the tv or remote, it blinks 4 times and pauses, then returns to red without turning on. Was watching it and stepped out of the room for a few minutes and when I returned it was in the off mode. Have power cycled, so I am assuming it is a board.
