Hi,

According to this link a 2:2 code is a corrupted BIOS error.

Try removing/replacing the CMOS battery (may be known as a coin cell battery) as suggested by @ajcooke01

What is the full model number of your laptop?

If you search online for HP (insert full model number) service manual you should get results for the manual which shows how to access the CMOS battery (may be known as a coin cell battery).

Alternatively if that doesn’t work or it doesn’t have a removable CMOS battery, here’s a link to a video that may be of some help.

If you open up the machine is there a CMOS battery at all? (button battery basically) If so, try replacing the CMOS battery as that’s what those lights mean. If there is no CMOS battery, I’m out of luck.
