Sonos Play:1 was released on October 2013. It is a wireless speaker system that features a 3.5 inch mid-woofer and tweeter. Repair of this device requires screwdrivers, tweezers, and prying tools. Model number: PLAY1US1BLK

Volume button is stuck/jammed

The volume (+) button of my Play:1 has lost its clickiness. It is still working, but not realiable and I cannot feel any haptic feedback like a click. Maybe there is some dirt or dust beneath the button.

Is it possible to remove the volume buttons without disassembling the whole unit?

You will have to disassemble most of the unit in order to get to the screen/buttons. I will provide a guide below on how to do it.
