Are you using a wall charger that says Adaptive Fast Charging (9.0V @ 1.67A) and is the wall charger an original one (or even try another wall charger + cable)?
Make sure you are using that wall charger and a good cable like this one:
If it’s still not working and the charging port looks good condition then the issue is either the charging circuit needing board-level diagnosing or there is liquid damage / corrosion behind the charging port that needs to be taken care of.
I have seen some cases where an S6 / S7 phone would suddenly stop fast charging for no apparent reason and then we end up not being able to fix it as we have tried replacing the charging socket via soldering and test with a replacement charging daughter board.
That’s the worst case scenario because that points to the charging circuit on the logic board itself being at fault which means you would either have to replace the logic board being the easier choice or diagnose the charging circuit on the board via board schematics which is very tedious to do.
