Earpiece and Ambient Light Sensor not working

Hello

I have a very strange problem on a customers iPhone 6s Plus.

His Earpiece and Ambient Light Sensor have stopped working but the front camera is fine.

So I replaced at first the earpiece (nothing changed), second the front camera flex cable (still not working) and last the whole display unit.

All three attempts have not lead to a solution.

Still the Earpiece and the Ambient Light Sensor are dead.

Could it be a faulty contact on the board?

Please help! :)

If you are confident that the replacement parts you used are fully operational, then you are left with the logic board as the issue. This could be connector related or circuitry related. Do a thorough visual inspection, preferably with magnification, of the connector and the surrounding components. If there is damage, debris or missing components, this would be enough to cause problems. Beyond that, the logic board will have to be diagnosed by someone that does board level work.
