Dark marks showing on the LED screen

I’ve noticed dark patches appearing on the screen, mainly around the border. They stick out especially if there is a lighter colour on display. They’re there all the time and now that I can see them I can’t focus on anything else. Please help.

those look like bad edgelighting LED’s (part of your backlight). This could be an issue with the power board not supplying proper voltages to teh LED’s or the backlight array itself. Since we do not know what model this is, it will be difficult to help you further until we get this information.
