My flash getting hot, when ı plug into my laptop.
I have SanDisk ixpand 32 GB (2 years old) and a brand new SanDisk Ultra Fit 3.0 32 GB USB thumb flash drives.
My problem is, both flash drives are always getting hot when I plug them in and do any file transfer.
- What can I do to prevent them from overheating ?
- Is this harmful to them ?
Thanks,
Regards.

Heavy file transfers will cause the drive to get warm. This is normal.

SanDisk flash drives are widely copied. Only the fakes get really hot! A genuine drive just gets warm to the touch, after read/writing.
