What size keyboard screws in the MacBook Pro mid 2012 unibody?

Greetings,

I tried using a PH000 but I cannot turn the screws. It strips them. Would a PH0000 be better? Or are the screws something else similar to phillips maybe? The screwdriver does not seem to fit deep enough.

Thanks

I do these keyboard replacements a couple of times a month. If you PH 000 is a cheap one or worn one it will slip. I use a small black and decker electric screw driver. On problem ones, I use a bit handle with a large diameter so I can put more torque on it and press hard as I turn. I’ve never stripped one.

Thank you. What brand of bit do you use? And is it magnetic? It makes putting screws in much easier. I also have a Black and Decker electric screwdriver. I need a quality PH000 bit.

I use the ones out of the iFixit kits.
