Where would one buy parts such as psu or motherboard ?

There is really not a specific place where you can get it. You’ll have to try to do a parts online search or check places like ebay.com alibaba.com etc.

I wish it were that easy. I spend couple of hours looking for PSU and/or motherboard for Surface studio and had little luck. This included Ebay, Alibaba, various parts websites.
