As the CPU is mounted directly onto the systemboard, the only way to upgrade the CPU in the laptop is to replace the systemboard.

CPU is soldered to the mother board. Look up Professor Messor.... He has videos that can explain a lot of IT questions. Some videos could help with certification.

Has it a SSD hard drive already? If not this is a better upgrade than the CPU.
The RAM can only be upgraded to 2x4GB for a total of 8GB.
