How to raise a depressed power button?

The sleep/on/off button is depressed and is not released and not working. Is there a way to fix it myself? Or I need to take it to a repair shop? Thanks,

Try getting double sided tape and a new pencil. Use the flat side of the eraser and stick a piece of double sided tape to that, then press it against the power button and pull up.

Good luck.
