we’d have to see the damage that this may have caused and where the board is damaged. Post some images of this with your question. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. You do need to clean everything with some 90%+ isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush. That will somewhat decontaminate your board and then you need to find the parts that are shorted out. Again for a more in depth answer, we need to see what you see.
