Hi @papusm1087 ,
What is the year, make and model of the vehicle in which the radio is installed?

As far it comes to the factory installed Bose radio it will not be the best for the car, as they do not install a high quality and durable sound system. You will have to go for a new sound system which will cost almost the same as repairing your current system. You can try the BOOS audio or Pioneer. If you want a durable one and hear music 24/7 you may take a look at the Rockford too. I have installed the Pioneer in my car last year and sounds as like new even after a year. Have a look at lists here which includes pros and cons and the price also: https://www.soundspeakerwiki.com

@anthonyj I have seen a similar troubleshooting guide at https://speakershunter.com and it worked really well for me.
However, the factory installed radios are not so good. I must say that replacing a new one will be the best decision as it will cost the same as for repairing.
Anyway, thanks!
