Why wont my iPod touch 6th generation turn on!

Since i lost my apple charger for my ipod and I couldn't bother getting another one I ended up not using it for MONTHS and MONTHS and MONTHS. Now after all that time my sister want's it to listen to music and also because she dropped her phone down the toilet -_- The reason why i'm on here is because it wont turn on. I've tried heating up the battery, doing a soft reset, I can't pay for a new battery, take it apart and fix it my self CUZ THATS HARD! If anyone out there can help me figure out how to fix this thing, i would be very greatful!!
