Reset WPS Pin Manually

A hacker was able to access the WPS pin for my Samsung XPress C1860FW, connect it to a remote network and denied me permissions to reconnect and print either offline or online. Now, I cannot access the LDC touch display because I do not have permission. I paid a network specialist but he was unable to reset the WPS pin. I cannot do that without access to the LDC display. Suggestions?

Hi Jennie,

You can try the master reset procedure:

1. Hold 1,2,3 on the front panel simultaneously.

2. Enter password 1934 and select OK.

3. Select "Test Routine".

4. Select "Other".

5. Select "Memory Clear".

6. Select your country, and press "Start".

1) On the selection wheel, press the “Menu" icon button

2) On the numeric keypad, enter "# 1 9 3 4"

3) Press the “Menu" icon button again. The printer displays "Tech Mode".

4) On the selection wheel, press the "OK" button

Your printer is now in Tech Mode. Within this menu you can reset the printer back to factory settings a/o reset counters, and access other printer default settings.
