Why is my screen touch malfunctioning?

Try starting the tablet in safe mode to check if it works normally.

If it does then the problem is being caused by a downloaded app. The trick is to find out which one.

If it is still no good when in safe mode, it may be that the digitizer is failing.

Searching online indicates that the digitizer is glued to the LCD panel and may not be easy to replace without damaging the screen. It may be easier and safer to replace the complete display assembly.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a display replacement guide online for your model (YouTube etc) perhaps you may have better luck. There is this one for an A1-810 which may give you some idea of what's involved.
