The Fitbit Alta smart wearable by Fitbit was released in 2016. It features a tap-activated display screen that is slightly smaller and thinner than comparable models.

Band latch keeps releasing

My Fitbit Alta wristband keeps releasing at the least bit of tension. It falls off frequently without me noticing. The clasp on the band where it attaches to the “Fitbit” seems to be lose. Can this be fixed?

The two bands stay together, but one slips out of the watch.

The easy fix on the OLD original fitbit bands was simply cut off the stretched end.

That stretchy hi-tech plast-o-ber ?? wears out rather quickly.

A replacement band can be bought for $5. Break that clasp, and your out $100.

I suggest a $5 band, first.
