I have Galaxy A5 2017 and i think the charger port is broken it does not charge, the past few days it was hard to find a spot to start charging and now it does not charge at all ,but i have really important files on the phone and can i turn it on in some other way just for a few minutes to back up the files before i take it to service? Do you have another samsung at all that you could connect your battery up to and charge it? Obviously you'll have to line the gold pins up on the battery but it will charge, otherwise you could take it to a repair store and just ask them to charge it for you? Thats a service i offer so i'll assume most are the same.

@will91491 this will only work if she has an exact 2015 Samsung A5. All Samsungs are built from the ground up and all use different batteries. Also, this requires disassembling the phone. If you were going to to do this on an A5, you might as well repair/replace the chargeport!
