Why is my Alienware not powering on?

Hi , I have an Alienware m17x r2 bought in 2010 , and it is been trough a lot of repairs lately , and now is not powering on , the light on the back of the laptop's screen is on , and the one from the cable too , but everything else is dead... Also I checked the cables inside the laptop and everything seems to be fine......
