Ipad 4 repair question.

I want to repair an ipad 4 lte, but I want to make sure I get the right part. I've tried re-booting it and these grey lines still persist, and the touch screen still works, so I need a new lcd screen, right?

Thanks for any help.

Is this the only thing you see on the LCD? Logically speaking it should be just the LCD that is defective. However, if the iPad has been dropped a lot, had a recent repair or came into contact with water, it might be a bad connection or logic board related.

Yeah, it's only grey lines that show up, also I'm not sure if any of those things've happened to it.

Then the logical thing to try first is a new LCD.
