Sang no you cannot. Different battery (we all know how finicky Apple devices are when it comes to batteries) and a different connector etc. Buy the right battery so you do not have to connect anything temporarily and avoid making costly mods and/errors.

It seems that you can do it , but the battery will not have the same capacity (battery drop quickly).
There is very similar but not the same voltage. (drain battery also more quickly)
Also check it might require to change the connectors to install it,
might need soldering skills for that .... I don't recommend to do it for long last solution...

Since I can't find trackpad 2 in Mac and there is no response when I connect my trackpad 2 to Mac by lighting cable, I suppose if it is possible replaceing the battery to make sure what problem it is.
Maybe I have to buy the right battery first.

I replaced the right battery, but it didn't work at all. Certainly I checked the voltage of the new battery upto 4.1V, while the old one is 0V.
