My drone won’t lift off

Just purchased a upair one plus drone, charged both batteries and read instructions, placed the propellers on as instructed, turned on controller first then drone, the engines start up but when I press the up stick nothing happens, why ?

Tried everything I can think of, but same result, won’t lift off☹️ Does anyone know why ?
