I saw this already, but like the Iphone collection they have complete repair guides on most of their components.. isn't their similar guides for samsungs?. or is it that easy to repair multiple component guides are not necessary?.

@mystique28 you'll have to first identify which version your phone is. Something like J500F/J700FN (Global Single-SIM); J500F/DS (Global Dual-SIM); J500G/DS (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand); J500Y (Australia, New Zealand); J500M (LATAM); J500M/DS (Brazil); J500H/DS (Philippines, Russia, Ukraine) will help. when you say you want to repair "Logic Board, Lightning Controller, Display Assembly" you are most likely referring to replacing those. Of course you can always dig a bit deeper for something like this

Maybe all you need are directions like this

very helpful old turkey, however depending on the model for instance my phone is a j500fn, will any of the shots above relate to this model, or is it similar for most samsung models?, are their specific step by step disassemble guides like that of the iphones?

Tracey Homeward not unless you make these when you work on your phone. Remember that those guides have been created, iDevices mostly by ifixit staff, by users just like you and I. If you have a J5 and want to work on it become a pathfinder for others and create the guides for it. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/new is a good start.

Yes, those images will be identical to your model. Most of the differences between models will be found on the circuit boards itself.

Which components are you looking to repair?

The guides are only there if users submit them
